Camps and outdoor activities page

Our most recent camp was the week-long Summer visit to Arran in July/August 2002. Despite initially poor weather things picked up. All campers enjoyed cycling trips round the island, rounders on the beach, climbing rocks, a misty aborted climb of Goat Fell and most especially Mr Baker's exceedingly good cooking. Our next scheduled summer camp will be 2004 but we will be holding various weekend camps and our traditional recruit camp for all 1st year boys this year.

The Friday night Camping class completed their overnight stay on Friday 28/2/03. Cpt Allen & WO Stanger accompanied the boys on their overnight canvas camp. It appears that some of the luggage/rucksacks that were packed were more akin to a fortnights holiday than an overnight camp. However all seemed to go well and the boys survived Mr Allen's breakfast after apparently commenting that it was not a patch on Mr Baker's camp cuisine!
